Notch began working with Green Devil Comic Trading at the beginning of 2022 with a view to develop a unique marque for this comic book store based in Manchester UK. Our approach was to generate an illustrative and iconic logo based on a quintessential comic book style villain! Notch generated the brand name, illustration and artwork which will be applied to signage throughout the store. See our work to view the new illustrative logo.

The Box Room Gallery wanted to create a brand name, identity and website on a limited budget. The name is derived from the fact the artist simply works out of a 'box room' at home and sells prints online. The concept has a 'homemade' feel and offers a clever brand name and website to enable the artist(s) to sell high specification art prints around the world.

When this local directory start-up approached notch to created a brand identity and a website, my solution was simple. To create a user friendly local online directory that promotes local businesses and provide a future advertising platform designed to gain revenue as the portal expanded.
Plans are also being considered to turn this portal into a subscription based platform in the future alongside a loyalty card for local residents to gain discounts from local businesses.
